OUR HISTORY

Kelab Golf & Rekreasi Petronas was founded on 14 March 1988. It was registered under the Sport Development Act 1997 (Act 576) and is governed by its Constitution and Rules.

The main objective for the club establishment is to cater for the sports and recreational needs of the employees of petroleum companies specifically Petronas companies and its affiliates thus fulfilling the company’s social obligation to its employees.

KGRP has been very active in providing its members with sporting and social facilities and encourage interaction and socialization in friendly, harmonious and relaxing apmosphere. Currently, we have 56 affiliated clubs in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand.

CLUB AFFILIATION

Currently, KGRP has reciprocal arrangemet with 56 clubs all over Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Brunei. We have chosen clubs of good standing to make sure that our member will enjoy these facilties when they travel outside the state of Terengganu. All visting members of reciprocal clubs must produce a valid Membership Card and an Introduction Card ( only available at KGRP Recetion Counter ) of current date signed by Club Manager/ Secretary of visting member’s Club to be presented to Reception Counter of the Reciprocal Clubs on the arrival and before using the club’s amenities.
